Worawuth putting the finishing touches to one of the largest Chiang Mai Lamphun road series

The Three Owls Gallery arose from Watercolor de Lanna, a cooperative group of watercolour artists who work in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.

Worawuth Srakaeo had been running a small gallery and teaching space in Chiang Mai since February 2013. He had been looking for larger premises for a while when, in November 2015, he found an ideal location only a few hundred metres from his original studio. As a larger space needs more help to run he teamed up with two friends, from which came the new name Three Owls Gallery.

Worawuth and friends frequently organise trips to sights around Chiang Mai to paint some of the many wats (temples), parks and markets. They can usually be found in JJ Market on the weekends.
