Group exhibition in Chiang Mai (August 2010)

Ok, so we’re a little late in posting this one but in August last year the group was asked to exhibit their watercolours it the art space at Chiang Mai’s Central shopping mall (it was much more elegant than it sounds!).

The tradition in Thailand, as you can see in the photos below, is to celebrate any opening, including businesses, with gifts and speeches. In this case the gifts included a beautiful Thai boutonnière, flowers for the lapel, for each of the artists.

We also have a vid of Khun Thanakorn’s live painting display at the exhibition. Ok it’s not the best quality but it’s worth viewing if just to hear the cello and piano accompaniment.
